# Unlocked

Gift links to paywalled journalism, shared by subscribers on Bluesky and Mastodon. Gathered every 15 minutes, one entry per article, gone when the link expires.

Search headlines, or paste a paywalled article URL

## How this works

Many outlets let subscribers share a few articles a month that anyone can read. People post those gift links publicly. Every 15 minutes a collector searches public Bluesky posts and Mastodon's #giftlink hashtags, keeps only URLs that carry a real gift token, and stores one entry per article. Washington Post links carry their exact expiry date. For other outlets the expiry is an estimate based on when the link was first shared.

Gift links are a subscriber perk, and the reporting behind them costs money. If you keep reading an outlet here, consider subscribing.
